DOOM trust and safety

Marketplace User Agreement

The operating rules for buying and selling through DOOM.

Pilot effective date: September 8, 2026

1. Accounts and eligibility

Users must provide accurate account information, keep credentials secure, and use the marketplace only where legally permitted. Sellers must complete the payment provider's identity and payout verification before receiving proceeds. DOOM may restrict, suspend, or close accounts used for fraud, abuse, policy evasion, or unlawful activity.

2. Listings

Sellers must have the right to sell every listed item. Each listing must identify the correct product, quantity, condition, grading company and grade when applicable, and known defects. At least one current photograph of the actual item or sellable inventory is required. Stock imagery may supplement but may not replace required seller photographs.

3. Transactions and fees

A transaction becomes binding after the payment provider confirms payment. The marketplace fee shown before publication applies to that listing. DOOM-owned inventory is not charged a third-party seller fee. Taxes, shipping, payment costs, and other legally required amounts are disclosed during checkout when available.

4. Payments and payouts

DOOM uses regulated payment providers for collection, identity verification, and payouts. DOOM does not store full bank or card credentials. Seller proceeds remain pending until delivery is confirmed and the three-calendar-day buyer complaint window ends without an eligible dispute. Provider, legal, fraud, refund, or chargeback requirements can delay or reverse a payout.

5. Shipping

Sellers must ship within seven calendar days, use the buyer-selected service, package the item securely, and preserve proof of mailing or carrier acceptance. Required insurance, declared value, and signature services must not be removed. Creating a label without a carrier acceptance scan does not count as shipment. For an eligible single ungraded card below $100, a buyer may expressly choose an untracked First-Class envelope. That service has no USPS delivery scan or included insurance and carries greater loss risk. It auto-completes 14 days after documented mailing when the buyer has not confirmed receipt or opened a dispute. Applicable law and payment-network rights cannot be waived.

6. Final sales and exceptions

Collectible sales are final except for non-delivery, missing contents, verified counterfeit or authenticity failure, payment-network rights, chargebacks, and rights that cannot legally be waived. Buyer's-remorse returns and ordinary exchanges are not offered.

7. Enforcement

DOOM may remove listings, hold payouts, request evidence, cancel transactions, refund buyers, limit accounts, or cooperate with payment providers and lawful authorities when reasonably necessary to protect users or the platform. Beta access and features may change as provider requirements and the operating entity are finalized.
